Terms of Service

COREJEWELS (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") establishes the terms of use (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") for its operated website (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") as follows.
Users of the Service are deemed to have agreed to the following conditions.

Chapter 1 General Provisions

Article 1 Scope and Changes of these Terms

Chapter 2 Members

Article 3 Members

A "Member" refers to an individual who has approved these Terms, applied for membership registration in accordance with the procedures specified by the Company, and whose application has been approved by the Company.

Article 4 Membership Registration

1. Applicants for membership shall apply for membership registration in accordance with the method specified by the Company from the membership registration page of the Service.
2. The Company shall approve the application in the preceding paragraph by sending a registration confirmation email to the applicant.
3. The Company may not approve a registration application if any of the following items apply:
 (1) If it is discovered that the applicant has previously received disciplinary action, such as membership cancellation, due to a violation of these Terms.
 (2) If the applicant's application contains false information.
 (3) If the Company otherwise deems it inappropriate to approve the registration application.
4. Membership registration shall be limited to individuals residing in Japan.
5. The usage agreement between the Company and the Member based on these Terms shall remain valid between the Company and the Member from the date of completion of registration until the cancellation of the Member's registration.
6. Please note that individuals registering as members are deemed to have warranted to the Company that they are 20 years of age or older, or if they are under 20 years of age, that they have obtained the consent of a parent or guardian for the sales contract.

Article 5 Notification of Changes

If there is any change in the Member's address, name, telephone number, credit card number, or any other information registered with the Company, the Member shall promptly notify the Company in accordance with the method separately instructed by the Company.

Article 6 Suspension of Service Use, Cancellation of Membership Registration

The Company may suspend the use of the Service or cancel membership registration without prior notice to the Member if the Member falls under any of the following:
 (1) If it is discovered that the Member has previously received disciplinary action, such as membership cancellation, due to a violation of these Terms.
 (2) If there is a delay in the performance of payment obligations for fees related to the Service or other non-performance.
 (3) If the Member performs an act prohibited by Article 10 (Prohibited Acts).
 (4) If the Member otherwise violates these Terms.

Article 7 Management of ID and Password

1. Members shall be responsible for managing the email address and password they set themselves.
2. Members shall not transfer, lend, or disclose their user ID and password to third parties.
3. Members shall be responsible for damages caused by insufficient management of user IDs and passwords, errors in use, or use by third parties.
4. If a Member discovers that their user ID and password are being used illegally by a third party, the Member shall immediately contact the Company.
5. Users acknowledge the risks, such as leakage, associated with payment methods such as transmitting credit card numbers when using the Service, and shall perform such actions at their own risk (as described in Article 14).

Article 8 User's Personal Information

Article 9 Scope of Services

1. Users can use various services provided by the Service. Please note that some services may not be available to users who are not members.

Article 10 Prohibited Acts

Users shall not perform the following acts:
(1) Applying false registration information when using the service.
(2) Acts that interfere with the operation of the Service or may otherwise hinder the Service.
(3) Using the Service with illegally obtained credit cards.
(4) Illegally using user IDs and passwords.
(5) Acts that cause inconvenience, disadvantage, or damage to other users, third parties, or the Company, or acts that may cause such.
(6) Acts that infringe on the copyrights, privacy, or other rights of other users, third parties, or the Company, or acts that may infringe on such.
(7) Acts that violate public order and morals or other laws and regulations, or acts that may violate such.
(8) Using the Service for commercial purposes.
(9) Sending emails, or emails that may be construed as such, for advertising, promotion, or solicitation without the consent of other members; acts that impede other members' email reception; or requesting chain email forwarding or forwarding in response to such requests.
(10) Unauthorized access to other members' equipment or service equipment, and acts that impede or may impede their use or operation.
(11) Unauthorized reproduction or redistribution of the Company's emails or website content.
(12) Other acts deemed inappropriate by the Company.
*Violation of prohibited acts is not merely a breach of etiquette but a violation of the Criminal Code, Unauthorized Access Prohibition Act, Trademark Act, Copyright Act, and civil and commercial laws, and entails criminal penalties and civil liability for damages.

Article 11 Copyright

1. Users shall not use any information provided through the Service outside the scope of limitations on copyright, such as private reproduction for personal use recognized by copyright law, without the permission of the rights holder.
2. In the event that a problem arises due to a violation of the provisions of this Article, the User shall resolve such problem at their own responsibility and expense, and shall not cause any inconvenience or damage to the Company.

Chapter 4 Purchase of Products

Article 12 Purchase of Products

1. Users can purchase products or services (hereinafter referred to as "Products, etc.") from the Company using the Service.
2. Users who wish to purchase Products, etc., shall apply for the purchase of products or the use of services in accordance with the method specified by the Company.
3. A sales contract for the Products, etc., shall be established between the User and the Company at the time the Company sends an email to the User indicating its acceptance of the application in the preceding paragraph.
4. Delivery of Products, etc., by the Service is limited to within Japan.

Article 13 Termination of Contract

1. The Company may terminate the contract in the following cases:
 (1) If the user violates these terms.
 (2) If the user's designated credit card company reports a credit default.
 (3) If circumstances are discovered that indicate the user's ability to pay has become questionable.
 (4) If the product is out of stock and cannot be delivered easily.
 (5) If delivery is not possible due to an unknown address or prolonged absence.
2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, if there is any fraudulent or inappropriate act regarding the use of this service, the Company may cancel or terminate the sales contract or take other appropriate measures.

Article 14 Payment Methods

1. The payment amount for products, etc., will be the total of the product purchase price including consumption tax, shipping fees, and transfer fees.
2. Payments for products, etc., purchased through this service shall be made by credit card in the user's name, or by other payment methods separately approved by the Company.
3. In the case of credit card payments, the user shall comply with the conditions separately agreed upon with the card company. In the event of a dispute between the user and the credit card company, etc., the parties concerned shall resolve it, and the Company shall bear no responsibility whatsoever.

Article 15 Returns of Products, etc.

1. Products generally cannot be returned, except in cases of damage during delivery, defects in the product, incorrect product, or other cases separately approved by the Company. Furthermore, returns of such products and exchanges of products with defects, or cancellation if exchange is not possible, can only be made if the user contacts the Company for a return within the period specified by the Company (within 7 days) after receiving the product.
2. The user shall return the product in the preceding paragraph at the user's expense and in accordance with the method separately specified by the Company.

Chapter 5 Operation of the Service

Article 16 Information Management

If the Company determines that comments and other information transmitted by users with their consent are usable, the Company may use them in the Service without notifying the users, and may delete them without notifying the users if any of the following items apply:
 (1) If the information is clearly found to infringe on the copyrights or other rights of the Company or a third party, or to clearly damage the reputation or credibility of the Company or a third party.
 (2) If the Company receives a warning from a third party that the information infringes on the copyrights or other rights of the third party, or damages the reputation or credibility of the third party.
 (3) If the information is clearly found to violate the laws of Japan or applicable foreign laws.
 (4) If the Company is ordered to delete the information by a public office.

Article 17 Maintenance of the Service

To maintain the Service in good operating condition, the Company may suspend all or part of the Service without prior notice to users in the following cases:
 (1) For regular and emergency system maintenance.
 (2) If system operation becomes difficult due to fire, power outage, interference by a third party, etc.
 (3) In other cases where the Company deems it unavoidable to stop the system.

Article 18 Other Disclaimers

1. If the Company has a duty to notify users, it shall fulfill that duty by sending a notification to the email address registered in advance by the user, and regarding product delivery, by shipping the product to the destination specified by the user at the time of purchase.
2. The Company shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or disadvantages related to the use of the Service and products sold through the Service, regardless of the legal cause of claim, except for those specified in the preceding article.
3. The Company shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever incurred by users due to their inability to use the Service.
4. The Company shall be exempted from liability by processing administrative matters in accordance with the user's registration details.
5. The Company shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or disadvantages incurred in connection with the use of the Service, regardless of the legal cause of claim.
6. If a user causes damage, etc., to another user or a third party by using the Service, the user shall resolve such issue at their own responsibility and expense, and shall not cause any inconvenience to the Company.
7. If the Company changes a user's password, etc., it shall be exempted from liability by verifying the user's identity using a method specified by the Company.
8. Users shall bear the costs for installing computer equipment and communication devices necessary for using the Service, as well as telephone charges, LAN usage fees, and application fees incurred for using the Service.
9. Users shall use Internet Explorer 4.X or higher or Netscape Communicator 4.X or higher as the browser for using the Service. If problems such as incorrect display of the screen occur due to the use of a browser other than that specified by the Company, the Company shall bear no responsibility whatsoever and shall not accept any inquiries.

Article 19 Miscellaneous

1. Communication between the Company and users shall, in principle, be conducted via email.
2. In the event that a problem arises regarding the use of the Service that cannot be resolved by these Terms of Use or the Company's guidance, the Company and the user shall discuss it with mutual sincerity to resolve it.
3. If litigation becomes necessary regarding the use of the Service, the Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive court of first instance.
4. If a user incurs an obligation to pay damages due to non-payment of sales price or other violations of these Terms, and the Company employs an attorney to recover such damages, the user shall also bear the attorney's fees based on the attorney's fee regulations.

Supplementary Provisions

These terms apply to all members from June 13, 2011.
